What Christopher Marks says about this:

"In late 2013 I started writing music for a 7", I decided on the title "Pylons, Telephone Wires, Trees In The Clearing" right from the start because it was from some poem thing I'd written and it sounded pretty.
Between then & now I have re-recorded and then completely rewrote everything for it 3 times, moved house a few times, had a few different jobs, decided I was going to move to London from the place I'd grown up and spent all my life, moved to London three days after making that decision, then a few weeks later wrote & then recorded (on my iPhone) the four songs that are now actually this record in one night in my loft with a (very) cheap bottle of red wine & a box of incense (the incense was better than the wine).

I can't thank the two labels involved enough for putting this out, and I would've probably stopped making music a long time ago if it wasn't for Wolf Town DIY.

This is the ninth or tenth release I've done in the last few years and not necessarily the nicest sounding one or whatever but definitely the most real, I hope you like it."
